Tote Bags! This is great gift bag and very easy to make! You can make this tote at any of the "quilt" classes - just let me know that is the project you wish to work on.
Supplies at Memory Lane Quilt Shop: 1/2 yard of theme fabric (2/3 yard if it is directional); 1/2 yard of complementing fabric, 1/2 yard of interior fabric; 1/2 yard fusible fleece, 3 1/4 yard of strapping.
These totes are perfect for the beach, baby shower gifts, birthdays, Christmas (yes, it's time to start thinking Christmas), gifts for teachers, coaches, best friends, and so much more! I have seen these made up in theme fabrics - like cards for poker & game nights, monopoly fabric for kids sleep over parties, bathing beauties for the beach, sports fabric for the mom who lives for her kids sports activities, and baby fabrics to coordinate with little quilts for the perfect baby shower gift!
Quilt Classes are informal and work at your own pace - my only requirement is you come to have fun!
Classes without a minimum of 4 paid students may be cancelled, this will be the only time a refund or credit will be given to students.

To get to Central East - go I-8 to 2nd Ave. exit north onto 2nd; go 1/2 block past Broadway at 2nd on the east side of the street - in the same parking lot as "The Plant House" which can be seen from Broadway and 2nd.
For class, please bring your sewing machine and quilting notions / supplies. We have a few basic supplies on hand that we will share with you but you should bring your own equipment if possible. Make sure you mark your supplies with your name or initials with a Sharpie.

Paula has classes for sewing and embroidery available in both a group/class setting, and one on one instruction. Please call the store for availability.
